About us
Mitsui-Soko was established in 1909 with its headquarters in Tokyo. Starting originally as a warehousing company, Mitsui-Soko subsequently ventured into Port Terminal operations, trucking freight forwarding, shipping and a host of other related services, and today has emerged as one of the leading international freight forwarding companies with a wide network of branches all over the world.
Mitsui-Soko started operations in Malaysia in 1984 with its headquarters in Port Klang and three other branches in Prai, Melaka, and Johor. Mitsui-Soko (M) Sdn. Bhd. operates several bonded and non-bonded warehouses in key locations within Malaysia, and in close proximity to sea and air ports.
Having acquired the ISO 9001 certification for our commitment towards high quality services and customer satisfaction, we are focused on continuous improvement in all our service areas to keep abreast with ongoing changes in the business environment.
Aside from traditionally handling electronic and electrical goods, our business sectors and expertise has expanded to include the automotive and aerospace industries, pharmaceuticals and health, projects and heavy equipment, and whole range of consumer goods, with a wide array of operational menus having the flexibility to match most customers’ requirements.
